Harrison Pass is still closed due to snow and anglers should plan on accessing the Refuge through Secret Pass or Overland Pass. The collection ditch is really opening up and fishing has been very good here using a variety of flies, spinners and lures. The oxbow pond behind the hatchery is still producing 10 to 15 inch fish taken on an assortment of flies and the occasional large fish. Flies that are working include small pink or orange egg patterns, prince nymphs, frostbite chironomids, egg sucking leeches, small buggers, you name it. Other sections of the ditch are also producing nice fish using wooly buggers in olive or black, spinners and minnow imitating lures.
