Good Fishing

Fishing has been fair to good depending upon the day. It seems to be best when there is a slight breeze putting a chop on the water. Anglers have had some success along Jet Ski Beach using prince nymphs and wooly buggers. Other small flies such as hares ears, soft hackles and chironomids should work from shore. The usual worms or PowerBait as well as spinners and lures should work. The trick this time of year is to not cast too far out. Trout are cruising the shallows where the sun can warm up the water to a more desirable temperature. Fish are often caught within a few feet of shore as anglers reel in their line to cast again.
