Spring Chinook should begin to show up in better numbers toward the end of April. Fishing will be slow until then. Trolling herring in the lower bay (north jetty, or Ghost Hole) will produce some fish. Herring or spinners trolled in the upper bay will be productive once fish show up. Catch-and-release fishing for sturgeon is fair. Fish the channel edges on the outgoing tides.
