Rebuilding

The golden algae bloom that led to a substantial fish kill in the fall of 2015 has left a big question mark over the immediate future of this fishery. Fishing is expected to be slow, due to the fish die off that occurred in 2015. A few catfish survived the die off. Stocking and rebuilding the fishery will begin this spring and summer. Rye Patch was stocked March 29, 2016
