Fishing for warm water species should be good early and late in the day. Trout fishing should be picking back up with the cooling temperatures. With the lake warming up, fishing will likely be best early and late in the day with active techniques such as crank baits. Fishing with a nightcrawler under a bobber should be produce throughout the day, and is a great way and easy way to get youngsters in on the action. Anglers are encouraged to keep small stunted yellow perch with no limits on this species. As of Sept. 13, all boat ramps at Willow Lake are still accessible with the reservoir at 60 percent full.
