It’s all coming together for winter steelhead
Look for forecasted rains to help move more fish into the rivers, and be ready for fishing as waters begin to clear and levels start to fall. Reports of fish available and improving conditions are coming in from all sections of the coast, the Willamette Valley and for steelhead rivers in the northeast part of the state.

Spring bear hunt application deadline is Feb. 10
SW Oregon 1st come, 1st serve tags sold out earlier this week.

Bird hunting ends
Remaining upland bird seasons close Jan. 31 and duck season also ended. NW Permit Goose reopens Feb. 4-March 10, SE Oregon also open for some geese, see regs.

Bonneville Fish Hatchery, Sturgeon Center closed
The closure is until further notice due to hazardous conditions caused by recent snow and ice storms.
