Steelhead fishing continues to be hit and miss depending on flow and weather conditions. Anglers are starting to pick up a mix of fresh and spawned out fish.
The angler-caught winter steelhead broodstock program has been very successful this year, with both boat and bank anglers donating steelhead to the Chetco River hatchery program. The program will run until mid-March.
