Illinois River Fishing Report

The Illinois River will reopen to trout fishing on Monday, May 22. Since only hatchery trout may be retained, and hatchery trout are not likely to be to be found in the Illinois River at this time of year, fishing will be primarily catch and release for the native cutthroat trout.
