The Crooked is fishing fair to good, with stable flow and not to cold in the canyon over there.
It’s mostly midges now, nymphs, emerging pupa and adults, along with scuds, eggs and small BWO nymphs.
On days that get into the 40’s it’s worth staying to about 4 or so and getting into a run when the midges are hatching. The fish usually rise pretty well for that and can be a great time to fish as a lot of the people leave about 2 or 3.
