How to hunt this fall if you didn’t draw a tag
For those that didn’t draw a big game tag, here are 7 tips for having a full hunting season this fall.
Take a hunter education class
Upcoming hunter education field days and traditional classes have resumed and are now being posted. Check out the list of upcoming classes.
Rec Report gets new look
We’ve added more highlights at the top of each zone and simplified the list of waterbodies to make it easier to find the best bets for weekend fishing. Send comments and suggestions to ODFW.Info@state.or.us, include “web comment” in the subject line.
Tips to recreate responsibly
We continue to urge anglers and others recreating outside to stay close to home, keep your social distance, and travel safely. Here’s more information about how to recreate responsibly.
Don’t kidnap wildlife
As anglers and wildlife watchers start getting out more, they’re likely to encounter fawns, fledgling birds and other young wildlife. If these babies are alone, leave them alone! The mother is probably out foraging and will return to its baby when it’s safe. Learn more about what to do if you find young wildlife.
