SACRAMENTO RIVER, CALIF: Dave Jacobs/Hank Mautz (Professional Guide Service) (800-355-3113): Fishing for white sturgeon has been good for both keeper size and oversized fish this past week. Most fishing has been from Butte City to Knight's Landing. Colusa to Grimes has seen it's fair share of angler's due to few launching opportunities other than Ward's landing near Colusa from low flows on the Sacramento River. Best bets have been ghost shrimp or pile worms fished by themselves or together on the bottom in 10-15 feet of water. New sturgeon slot limits are 46 to 66 inches with a new sturgeon report card. Angler's are allowed three white sturgeon per year. Striper fishing has been spotty at best. ?Į
