Access to popular fishing areas is still changing quickly. Anglers should confirm access before they go.
There are coho throughout the Clackamas. If you want to catch hatchery fish concentrate on areas downstream of the hatchery influence. but not necessarily at the hatchery. Recent rains have decreased visibility as it clears fishing will pick up.
We’re at or near the peak of the coho run, and early returns of both wild and hatchery coho suggest there will be a strong coho return this year.

USGS hydrological data for Oct. 21 shows river flows have dropped to 1.030 cfs, water temperature cooled slightly to at 52.2F, and the gage height at 11.13 ft. All of the readings come from the Estacada gauge near Milo McIver State Park.
