Anglers are reporting a decline in topwater action for striped bass and are starting to fish between 80 and 100 feet. Others have still had luck with fish averaging 2 pounds when using Zara Spooks in Callville Bay and surrounding coves. Near Hemenway, anglers have found some action with live shad. Black bass are taking topwater lures and a variety of crankbaits in the shallows of Las Vegas Bay and near Temple Bar.
