Chinook fishing continues to be fair to good throughout the bay. Hot bites this week were sporadic and mostly upstream of the Hwy 101 bridge and in the Wheeler area. Hatchery coho catches continue to improve as well with fair numbers of fish showing throughout the bay. The wild Chinook bag limit expands to 2 per day on Sept. 16 (north coast aggregate bag limit for wild Chinook still applies).
