Fall Chinook fishing picked up after the recent rains for the anglers fishing the river above the tidewater. Things have slowed down this week with the dropping river levels. More rain in the forecast should get fish moving again and provide good opportunity for the next couple of weeks before the run winds down.
***Reminder*** There is no wild coho retention in the Alsea for the 2021 season. Please practice good catch-and-release for wild coho, keep them in the water and release immediately.
Trout fishing in streams closed on Oct. 31.
