Fishing was decent for aqueduct anglers

Fishing was decent for aqueduct anglers with striper and catfish as the best bets. Striper anglers did well with live and cuts baits. Cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live minnows all worked for bites after check gates. Lure anglers fooled fish with small swimbaits, Gitzits, and Rattletraps in the same areas as the bait anglers. Catfish have been biting well, and they ate dip bait, chicken livers, and cut baits just about anywhere in the aqueduct. Largemouth lethargic last week with anglers working for bites in slower moving water. Drop shot grubs, Senkos, and topwater were the baits of choice
