In winter Walton Lake offer ice fishing opportunities for carryover rainbow trout up to 18 inches. Access to the lake through deep snow from the campground gate or Walton Sno-Park may require a ½ to 1 mile trek on snowshoes or skis. As always, anglers are encouraged to use caution and evaluate ice conditions before venturing onto frozen lakes. No recent reports.
