Dave Kirby reported the fishing has been fair but is improving with the warmer weather. Not a lot of limits.

Chris Vazquez of Gardnerville caught a couple of nice rainbows, including a 4-pounder, trolling with small Kastmaster lures.

Fly fishing club meets on Apr. 4

The Carson Fly Fishing Club will hold its regular club meeting on Wednesday evening, Apr. 4. The evening's guest speaker will be Chris Wharton of Stillwater Guide Service and he will give a program on the techniques for fishing local waters.
