Idaho Fish Report

Still Some Opportunity

Sea-run cutthroat trout fishing has slowed in tidewater, probably indicating that fish are moving into the rivers, but there is still some opportunity. ‌

We've been hearing some good reports of rock fish and kelp greenling being caught off the North jetty. There is no public access to the South jetty this summer due to Army Corps of Engineers repairs. ‌

It's an "in between" time of year for salmon on Tillamook Bay. The spring Chinook have moved into the rivers and are getting close to spawning and fall Chinook and coho won't show up in any numbers for another month or so.
