There are some nice holdover trout in Chickahominy up to 20 inches and fishing has been good since ice out. The reservoir is ice free, and the boat ramp is usable. Water temperatures are in the 40s and anglers should target shallow areas where water temperatures warm a few degrees more than deeper areas of the reservoir.
