Flow: 45 CFS. This is a permanent flow required to be maintained by LADWP
Very clear conditions. Perfect practice for stealth casts and presentations.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
As winter starts this is the place to fish during bad mammoth weather times. At times it can be dumping snow in mammoth and sunny and warm in the gorge.
The bite starts about 10:30 and goes until about 3 pm. Temps in canyon now reaching down into the single digits at night, so the snakes are history. Same bugs are working but have your dry flies ready for the baetis hatch around 12:00-2:00.
