Water Conditions:
Water release has been at about 22-24 cfs for the last two weeks.
Very cold water . Access probably about impossible. Ice and snow along shore . . . dangerous.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Questionable.
Last report before snows . . . Fish are lethargic in cold water coming from the reservoir. There is still ice along the sides of the river making it tough.
Not much dry action but a few chironomids and baetis in the warmest part of the day.
RECOMMENDED FLIES:
Dries- Extended Body BWO, Last Chance BWO and small Parachute Adams
Nymphs- Pheasant Tails, PT Cruizer, Hares Ears, Surface Emergers, WD-40 and Zebra Midges.
Streamers- Throw dark patterns and very slow retrieve on the swing as close to the bottom as you can manage.
