Fishing has been very good for those who are willing to keep after it. A 2 ??-pound brown trout took a worm offered by a little boy who was fishing from the boat dock. Perhaps the biggest surprise in some time is the 4 ??-pound largemouth bass that was reportedly hauled out of the lake on Tuesday. If that's true, there is an armchair fisheries biologist at work. If so, that could eventually threaten the trout fishery. Go with worms and PowerBait for trout. Fly-fisherman may want to try an olive or brown woolly bugger fished along the reed beds.
