Whiper Bass and White Bass fishing have been excellent almost anywhere in the lake. Beach 6 has been the most productive, but don't limit yourself. Any lure, buzz bait, spinner bait or jig will work. Move the lure across the bottom. Casting area should have aquatic vegetation or brushy cover. The narrows of the lake fished well for Wallleye according to Kim Tisdale, Western Region Staff Biologist. Try using sinking Repala's in black and white. Lahontan should continue to produce through the summer.
