Idaho Fish Report

Anglers report fair to good fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout, perch and walleye, but reports have varied wildly about the type of fishing -- ice vs. open water. Winds and cold nights seem to be changing the landscape daily and sometimes hourly. As of Thursday, the ice was unsafe except for a section of Rabbit Gulch and a few shoreline sheets with nearly a foot of ice. Check the ice carefully before venturing out. The area near the main ramp and bridge were mainly open water. Anglers were fishing from the bank and float tubes.
