Idaho Fish Report

We've received reports of large, healthy walleye being caught! Success for walleye is still considered slow to fair, but this species is not typically easy to catch. Anglers report fair to good fishing for channel catfish, white bass, bluegill and other pan fish. Try fishing in shallower water (3 to five feet) and near structure. Don't forget that the tributaries below I-15 are closed to fishing from March 1 until May 3. Please keep in mind that there is a fish-consumption advisory for channel catfish and carp in Utah Lake. If you happen to catch a northern pike, please do not release it. We do not want pike in the lake!
