The Amrhein family had a great time fishing while visiting from Colorado Springs. They had the best success fishing in the evening near middle inlet beach. They caught 30 crappie, one perch, one catfish and one monster carp. All fish were caught using a short, dark plastic, segmented worm about four inches long while paddling in a zig-zag pattern in their canoe. They also caught bass in the morning on a white and light blue top water lure. Many thanks to the Amrhein family for the report.
