If temperatures continue to drop, ice-fishing conditions will be here soon. The water is much clearer than it has been in recent weeks. Anglers report great fishing at all the ponds, using flies and lures. One angler reported catching fish in the fourth pond, despite thick vegetation that limited access to the water. He fished on the land bridge between the third and fourth ponds and caught 15 trout using a Rapala. Another angler reported catching fish with a brown bead-headed nymph and using about four feet of leader on the end.
