Fishing right now is fair to good; anglers are catching both perch and trout. Most trout range from 8 to 14 inches, and some are as long as 18 inches. Most anglers are catching fish on ice flies or traditional ice lures tipped with shrimp. Others have found success with worms. The reservoir is capped under three to four inches of clear and smooth ice. We recommend using ice cleats. Daytime temperatures have been heating up, which can melt the ice very quickly. Please use extreme caution and common sense when venturing out. Thanks to Park Ranger Eric Bradshaw for the report.
