Angling pressure continues to be fair. Most of the ice has melted, but there is a thin layer in the southeast side of the third dam. The river is experiencing spring-like runoff conditions, causing the water to be murky. There were a lot of anglers fishing by Red Banks campground, but the fishing was slow. There have been midge hatches when the sun is out. Try using prince nymphs, small brassy midges, streamers and dark woolly buggers. Many thanks to Jodie Anderson and Conservation Officer Chris Schulze for the report.
