The Trask dropped into fishable condition late last week but bumped back up on Saturday. It looks like it’s going to be on the drop for the next couple days and may get in shape towards the end of the week, before going back up again.

A handful of winter steelhead showed up at the Trask hatchery already. However, this week high water conditions could be challenging. Chinook fishing is mostly done on the Trask, although there may still be a few late fish around.
