The Kilchis will be low through the weekend but should rise to favorable fishing conditions with forecasted rains. Expect fair opportunity with the catch mostly consisting of wild steelhead (catch-and-release only).
The Mapes Creek (logging bridge) boat ramp was damaged in the December storm and is still closed. Boaters should use extreme caution and check the ramp before launching there.
