Hyatt is currently 38 percent full. Hyatt is a bit lower than it was at this point last year. Trout anglers should do well fishing with PowerPait or worms near the dam for the next couple of months.
Please handle fish carefully. ODFW has received reports of anglers at Hyatt wasting smaller trout due to poor handling at release. This is even more important during hot weather. Remember that smaller trout now will become the big holdover trout next year.
