Weather conditions have kept anglers on their toes. Boat anglers are picking up a few steelhead, but the bite has been scattered. Anglers may need to wait until there is a change in weather before there is some consistent bite. This river is primarily a boat river with a lot of private land, but anglers can find some public access at the Elk River Hatchery or ODFW's Ironhead property.
