Hatchery winter steelhead returns to the North Fork have been stalled the past couple of weeks due to low water and cold temperatures, but rain predicted for this weekend should get fish moving and improve fishing conditions. While most of the hatchery run is winding down, the North Fork does have a release of wild broodstock hatchery fish and that strain should continue to come in through February and March.
