Gerber Reservoir had mostly open water in some portions so the lake is likely unsafe for ice fishing. Fish sampling by Bureau of Reclamation this year showed incredible densities of yellow perch and some larger crappie. Use small hooks and bait for the perch as most are small with small mouths.

Best place to fish for perch is at the north boat ramp. Crappie are suspended in the main part of the reservoir or near deeper water. The reservoir is 53 percent full. Call the Klamath Falls BLM office for updated information. The crappie fishery is better at higher lake levels.

Gerber Reservoir is a large turbid reservoir with good bank access. Most of the reservoir is on BLM property. Open all year.

Winchuck River: Frequent storms are keeping this river in shape for steelhead anglers
Beulah Reservoir: Beulah is about 60 percent full
Blitzen River: The Blitzen River is currently flowing between 300 and 500 cfs
Burns Pond: The ice is no longer safe to walk on
Campbell Reservoir: Campbell Reservoir is open water and filling
Chewaucan River: Fishing will be slow due to the cold-water
Chickahominy Reservoir: There are some nice holdover trout in Chickahominy
Dog Lake: Access is restricted to snowmobiles and the lake is still frozen
Fourmile Lake: The lake is inaccessible except by snow machines. Ice fishing might be possible
