Pike fishing has turned on. A pair of anglers caught several of the toothy fish over the weekend. Three of those weighed in at 11, 17 and 20 pounds. The latter measured more than 40 inches long. Large spinner baits, spoons and trout-look lures have been catching fish. Trout fishing is still slow as water temperatures remain quite low and are holding the fish in spawning mode. With a couple of weeks of warmer nighttime temperatures trout fishing should pick up. At Cave Lake, rainbow trout are taking PowerBait, worms and spinners.
