Sportsmen's club donates equipment

The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA) of Carson City is involved with a number of other groups in the donation of fishing poles and reels to the 18th annual Kids' Fishing Derby, which will be held at Gardnerville's Lampe Park on June 2-3.
OSA provided the necessary funding for the purchase of about 25-30 brand new poles and reels.
In addition, there are another 15-20 reconditioned poles and reels that have been donated to the derby.
Other entities involved in this effort include: Wal-Mart, The Iron Horse Cantina, Goodi's Lemonade and Master Motive Tech.
The poles and reels project is under the direction of Roy Huett of OSA.
