Blue, Knott and Onion Valley open to fishing on June 9

Blue Lakes, Knott Creek Reservoir and Onion Valley Reservoir, all located in Northern Humboldt County, will open for the 2007 fishing season on Saturday, June 9.
Those three waters will remain open to fishing until the close on Thursday, Nov. 15.
Blue Lakes:
Is open any hour of the day or night.
The limit is five trout.
Only those boats without motors are permitted.
The Blue Lakes area is closed to all vehicular traffic.
Knott Creek Reservoir:
Is open any hour of the day or night.
The limit is one trout, minimum size of 18 inches.
Only artificial flies or lures with a single barbless hook may be used at this reservoir.
Boats must be operated at a speed that leaves no wake.
Onion Valley Reservoir:
Is open any hour of the day or night.
The limit is five trout.?Į
