The water level continues to drop and boaters should proceed cautiously in those areas where there are submerged (maybe now exposed) islands and rocks. However, trout fishing is slow to fair from shore and fair to good from a boat, while perch fishing is fair to good. No recent report on bass angling. Most trout anglers are doing the best trolling rapalas or flashers tipped with a worm at the mouths of the bays and in the canyon. Perch fisherman should continue to use jigs or grubs tipped with a worm. Be careful as you leave the boat ramp at the state park as the island is protruding from the water. Another place to take care is in the canyon as prop rock is just below the surface waiting to eat another propeller.
