On April 6, the Black Smith Fork River had spring runoff conditions, but the fishing continues to be good throughout the river. Nymphing seems to work well for most anglers. Try using prince nymphs, hare's ears, pheasant tails and lightning bugs. Trout are hitting a size 16 purple haze, Adams and a fuzzball midge pattern. Many thanks to Clayton Winter for the report.
