Fishing is good for cutthroat trout. Anglers are doing the best on the east side of the lake from Cisco Beach to the Idaho state line. Try trolling with flat fish and larger rattles crank baits, or jigging. Fish are 50 to 70 feet deep. Anglers that are jigging should fish near the rock pile, Rainbow Cove and Cisco Beach areas in about the same depths using tube jigs tipped with cisco. Fishing from the Utah State Park Marina has been fair for cutthroat trout in the morning using spoons and different types of crankbaits because fish are getting ready to spawn. Remember, you must release all cutthroat trout that do not have a healed fin clip.
