On May 6, the fishing was good. Anglers are fishing around the pond and mostly catching rainbow trout. With the arrival of a few cormorants, fishing has slowed down, but anglers are still able to catch fish. They're having the best success near the inlet. One angler who was close to the inlet caught 10 fish after repeatedly casting and reeling in a green crappie jig. The fish are biting green plastic jigs, spinners, garlic-scented PowerBait, worms and bread.
