Fishing continues to be good and boat anglers are doing the best. Some days are red hot and some are slower, depending on the weather. A cold front can change fishing success dramatically. Fishing is fairly consistent and some days are better than others. If you're lucky enough to hook into a brown trout, it will be worth your time. Remember to certify that your vessel is clean and free of quagga mussels. Forms can be found at the top of most boat ramps in the state. Please thoroughly clean, drain and dry your boat after every outing, especially if you have boated at Lake Powell or Deer Creek. Read more about the decontamination process.
