In summer, anglers can target warmwater species that reside in the pond year-round, such as bass, crappie and bullhead catfish. The pond will be stocked with 1,650 hatchery trout.
This is an eight-acre privately-owned pond with public access in Salem at the northeast corner of McGilchrist and 16th Streets, S.E. There is no trash service out there so please pack out what you packed in.
