The Cow Valley and Durkee Fire are actively burning near Pole Creek Reservoir. This area is under an evacuation order so do not travel to this area until the fires have been contained. ‌

Pole Creek Reservoir filled up this spring and was stocked with 3,000 catchable rainbow trout and 15,000 fingerling rainbows. ‌

Recent sampling showed black crappie are quite abundant but most of them are very small. There are a few nice trout available in the 14– to 16-inch range.
