Idaho Fish Report

Now is the time to take advantage of the hot fishing at East Canyon. Boat anglers are doing very well using flashers in down riggers. You could also try slowly trolling with PowerBait just off the bottom. A group of anglers caught their limits of fish in only 45 minutes. Shore fishing is excellent as well. The fish seem to really favor rainbow PowerBait when suspended just off the bottom. Please remember that if you are going to launch any boat at East Canyon, you must complete a quagga mussel self-certification form and place it on your dashboard. If you don't have the completed form on your dashboard, you will receive a citation. If no one is at the gate when you arrive, just drive down to the boat ramp and pull a blank quagga self-certification form out of the mailbox that's under the big quagga mussel sign.
