On April 6, anglers reported that the fishing had slowed down a little bit. Some anglers fishing on the north side of the pond were using worms and shad on the bottom. They said they got a lot of strong bites but were unable to land any fish. Two anglers caught carp on the south side of the pond using bread fished on the bottom.
