Fishing for trout has been good at Howard Prairie. Legal-sized trout have been stocked to complement trout stocked last year and a good number of 15-20 inch holdovers. Trollers have had best success. All the boat ramps are open. The marina at the Howard Prairie Resort is open and boat rentals are available. The lake is now 66 percent full.
