Jeri Grellman of Sparks of Hog Charters (358-5199): Chris had a client out on Friday, who lost a 10-pounder right at the back of the boat. They were trolling deep water near Spider Point.

On Sunday, Chris took a friend out and they caught and released 20 cutthroat, with the largest being 23 inches.

Fly fishing club meets on Apr. 4

The Carson Fly Fishing Club will hold its regular club meeting on Wednesday evening, Apr. 4. The evening's guest speaker will be Chris Wharton of Stillwater Guide Service and he will give a program on the techniques for fishing local waters.
